The Short Hills Garden Club Hosts Plant Sale and Boutique

SHORT HILLS, NJ – The Short Hills Garden Club will be hosting it’s annual plant sale an boutique on Friday, May 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 13 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The eventuality for both days will be hold during a Short Hills Train Station.

The club’s largest fundraiser of a year directly advantages a Walbridge Rose Garden during Taylor Park in Millburn, The Community Garden and a window box plantings during a Short Hills Train hire in further to ancillary a club’s activities via a year.

Boutique equipment will also embody a preference of board receptacle and cosmetic bags by Paradise Bags, domestic valuables by Summer Love Designs, uninformed baked products by The Danish Baking Girl and homemade soy candles by Birch House Candles of Short Hills.

Established in 1906, a Short Hills Garden Club is one of America’s oldest clubs dedicated to a graduation of horticultural and environmental education.  The bar works to foster believe and appreciation of horticulture and a charge of a healthy resources; to kindle an seductiveness in open plantings in a Millburn/Short Hills area and to assistance say them; to keep a members sensitive on bureaucratic matters that regard a healthy resources; and to support a purpose of The Garden Club of America.

Past county projects have enclosed a planting of 700 daffodil bulbs in 3 village projects, tree plantings in Old Short Hills Park and reintroducing local plants during a South Mountain Reservation. The garden bar also supports The Greater Newark Conservancy as good as hands-on preparation during a Clinton Avenue School.
