It’s not surprising to hear about automobile engineers and designers owning engaging cars, though we weren’t awaiting this. Andreas Preuninger, conduct of GT cars during Porsche, suggested that he drives a RAM 1500 when chatting with Road Track. Yes. You review that right. The man obliged for a 997 GT3 RS 4.0, Cayman GT4, and 911 R owns himself a large cube of Americana. We’ll let him fact a specs.
“It’s got a singular cab, Hemi V8, prolonged bed, Magnaflow exhaust, and 22-inch wheels,” Preuninger says excitedly. “I adore it.”
Preninger’s RAM is embellished yellow with black stripes and is nicknamed “Rumble Bee,” only like a 2013 judgment graphic above. He uses it to receptacle around his mud bikes and to mislay rubbish from his home garden. For a man who spends a lot of time on a Nurburgring, a RAM is a lovely change of pace.
“Sometimes we need a reset button,” he says. While a 911 GT3 and a RAM 1500 seem like they couldn’t be serve apart, Preuninger says they both have something in common.
“The one thing it shares with a cars? It has character,” Preuninger explains. “It has to furnish a grin on your face. You wish to pat a roof when we get out.”
That said, we’re still flattering astounded Preuninger drives a RAM, though honestly? We consider creates him cooler. There are a lot of engaging cars and trucks in a world, and it’s always good to see someone that appreciates things on conflicting ends of a spectrum.
