Calling all runners, walkers, readers and their friends. The eighth annual Book It! 5K Walk/Run will be hold from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 16, during a Roseville library. The eventuality raises income for a Ramsey County Library’s Summer Reading Program for girl during all 7 branches of Ramsey County Library, including Maplewood, Mounds View, New Brighton, North St. Paul, Roseville, Shoreview and White Bear Lake. 

Last year, some-more than 7,500 children and teenagers took partial in a summer module by reading and reviewing books and entrance to a library to watch jugglers, magicians and other visitors uncover off their expertise. Kids also warranted points for reading-related activities on their own. The program’s idea is to not forget hard-earned reading skills during a three-month summer mangle from school. The Book It! 5K Walk/Run will be hold from 9 a.m. to noon, starting during Roseville county library, 2180 North Hamline Ave., Roseville. The march runs by scenic Central Park in Roseville. If paid by Aug. 31, appearance costs $27 per adult or $75 per family. If paid between Sept. 1 and 10 or on competition day, a cost is $32 per adult or $85 per family. Children ages 12 and underneath cost $15 regardless of what day they are sealed up.

Prizes will be given for tip finishers in any category. Snacks and beverages will be accessible during a finish line.
