A pleasing summer day, implausible song from jazz greats, illusory food, a Beer Garden, a Family Jazz Discovery Zone, and many of all — village —made this year’s Montclair Jazz Festival outstanding.
The festival was even bigger and improved this year— with live streaming and a outrageous shade charity good views of a stage, as good as cooling stations to assistance folks stay hydrated. Jose James and Jazz House Kids tyro Birsa Chatterjee along with Melissa Walker and a new Jazz House Kids Vocal Academy all incited in considerable outspoken performances. Then there was a illusory Paquito D’Rivera Quintet, a fantastic Jazz House Kids Big Band and of course, Christian McBride’s Big Band shutting out a festival and finale a pleasing day. Starting during noon, immature musicians behaving on a categorical theatre as good as a second theatre during a Family Jazz Discovery Zone, wowed audiences with their extraordinary talent.

Thousands of people of all ages (and pets) attended a annual giveaway festival that is constructed by Jazz House Kids‘ owner Melissa Walker and her father Christian McBride, a four-time GRAMMY Award-winning bassist, composer and arranger.
