Jimmy Choo has a series of four-legged friends. The code distinguished a witty new plug collection — products featuring a longhorn terrier — at the roof garden during a Surrey Hotel in New York City. Special guest Allison Williams of “Girls” celebrity brought her puppy, Moxie.
“She’s pleasing — and suits a Jimmy Choo woman,” said Creative Director Sandra Choi.
The brand’s bull terrier is also named Jimmy Choo. After spotting Brazilian artist Rafael Mantesso’s work on Instagram, a label partnered with him for a plug collection featuring his drawings of his dog. The sketches feature Jimmy Choo (the dog) enchanting in activities from parades to karaoke competitions to military lineups.
“This breaks a range of being a critical oppulance brand — why do we have to take ourselves so seriously?” combined Choi.
Now, 3 disdainful sketches are featured on a line of receptacle bags, purse pouches, purses and iPhone cases. The longhorn terrier can be found “dreaming of shoes” with a martini or even while DJ-ing. The humorous limited-edition collection, with prohibited pinkish and electric blue accents throughout, will launch next week at select Jimmy Choo stores and during Net-a-porter.com.
Here, Choi participates in FN 3, pity secrets from her personal collection.
