On Jul 30, a initial annual Flea Style Summit drew 150 of a best and brightest artists and entrepreneurs to Dallas for an all-day conference. Summit-goers were greeted during Gilley’s with a hand-painted, pinkish linen tapestry that review “Shine On” before entering a “glamping”-themed space—complete with happy cacti, feathers, and colorful streamers.

There was a important hum of impulse as attendees chose seats and chatted about their work and little businesses. Flea Style owner Brittany Cobb greeted guest privately before the panels, that featured internal and nationally famous creatives who dished on all from holding eye-catching Instagrams to formulating a fun and organic workspace during home.

For lunch, attendees networked and substituted cards over flushed grapefruit Palomas, duck and veggie wraps, and elotes, or took advantage of a plat bar.

Next, guest were separate into little “tribes” and headed to one of several artistic workshops. Carrie Moss, of Mood by Moss, led an aura reading in a yurt, where she photographed attendees and afterwards analyzed a colorful swirls in their Polaroids. Allie Biddle, of Bedthread Goods, led a little organisation in embroidering a little watercolor print. Briley Studdard, of Oh Deery Floral; photographer Megan Weaver; and Lauren Williams, of Boho by Lauren, also lead workshops.

The day wrapped adult with a happy hour and (in loyal Flea Style fashion) some time to emporium a vendors’ goods. We speckled little Ascot + Hart immorality eye pendants, Cartagena-made colorful totes from The Simple Sol, and blue and white dip-dyed wall hangings by Boho by Lauren. Every square of taste during a Summit was also for sale—even a beautiful kaleidoscopic rugs strewn via a space. Some shoppers left with fun finds like art prints or Texas-emblazoned tees, though with a new launch of Flea Style’s online store, anyone can emporium Summit finds.

The subsequent Dallas Flea Style uncover is from Nov 11 to 12. Expect a common roundup of standout vendors, with pieces like selected wicker furniture, splendid chuck pillows, handmade tender steel jewelry, and tie-dye tapestries.
