‘Hot Reads for Cold Nights’ earnings to a Lonsdale Library

It’s time again for a adult annual reading module during a Lonsdale Public Library, “Hot Reads for Cold Nights.”

Starting Jan. 13 and using by Feb. 21, a module is open to anyone age 18 or comparison in a Lonsdale area with a library card. If we don’t have a card, simply stop into a library located during 1006 NE Birch Street and pointer up.

Each week, 5 receptacle bags will be given away, and there will be dual grand prizes of a receptacle bag filled with a tumbler, coasters and Book Lover’s Calendar. You accept one entrance for a esteem drawings only for signing up, and we can acquire some-more entries by personification book bingo.

The module will also embody a few special events. From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 17, there will be a 1936 Flashback Matinee, including a Looney Tunes cartoon, authentic newsreels and a underline film, “My Man Godfrey.”

From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 7, there will be a 1945 Flashback Matinee, including a Looney Tunes cartoon, authentic newsreels and underline “And Then There Were None.”

From 7-8 p.m. on Feb. 19, Master Gardener Lisa Reuvers will benefaction “Planning a Butterfly Garden.”
