Dear Heloise: Here is my spirit to keep computers using uniformly and save on storage space:

Occasionally, we go to a control row on my mechanism and click on “uninstall programs.” It pulls adult a list of all a programs commissioned on my computer. we corkscrew by and uninstall anything we don’t need, don’t use or competence have been commissioned on my mechanism accidentally. A lot of times, when we download one thing, it downloads a messenger module that we competence not need.

A word of caution: Make certain we know what we are uninstalling and that we don’t need a module before we uninstall it. If we aren’t sure, don’t do it!

Dear Heloise: When we fly, we use a receptacle in that we trip my purse, a quart-size transport bag authorised of liquids, e-reader, earplugs, face facade and scarf. It keeps my purse purify if stowed, and keeps those equipment handy.

Marilyn T., Washougal, Wash.

Dear Marilyn: How good for we to yield a winter condo for a spiders! Cleaning a genuine plume duster is easy to do: Use cornmeal and a vast paper or cosmetic bag. Place a duster in a bag, and supplement a crater or dual of cornmeal. Close a bag and shake, shake, shake. You substantially wish to step outward when we take a duster out of a bag. Shake purify and we are done!
