A Century family was left though a home following a residence glow Saturday afternoon.
The residence in a 300 retard of Backwoods Road, usually off Highway 4A, was left unlivable by a blaze. The American Red Cross was called to support a passenger and a child with proxy housing.
Neighbors had reportedly damaged behind windows on a home and pulled a garden residence inside in an try to hit down a glow before firefighters arrived and fast extinguished a blaze. There were no injuries reported.
The accurate box of a glow was not immediately known.
The Century, McDavid and Walnut Hill stations of Escambia Fire Rescue, a Jay Fire Department and a Flomaton Fire Department were dispatched to a fire, along with Escambia County EMS and a Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
