The grill might be called Double Take Cafe, though there has been no behind greeting in a response to one of Marietta’s newest eateries.

For a first-time customer, Shaffer recommends a residence pickles, mac and cheese fritters, brisket in Carolina Gold salsa and one of their tiny collection desserts.
“We usually make tiny collection desserts, so we never know what it’s going to be until we’re during a marketplace or store,” Shaffer said. “Recently, we’ve had internal apple cobbler with uninformed churned cream, comfortable bread pudding with scotch caramel and uninformed churned cream, scotch chocolate banana pudding, espresso mocha break cake, cheesecake pudding cake and chipotle chocolate cake.”
As an artist himself, Shaffer is also regulating a grill as a approach to foster internal artists, predominately ones with ties to his alma mater, Kennesaw State University.
“When we non-stop we hosted an ‘Art ‘n ‘Que’ to christen a gallery wall,” he said. “It’s unequivocally critical for me to give bearing to internal artists as most as we can since it was critical to me as an artist when people gave me a leg up.”
Next up: A four-to-five-course dessert cooking eventuality Oct. 9, finish with a happening teller who will review Tarot cards.
Double Take Cafe is during 34 Powder Springs St. Marietta. The restaurant’s hours are Tuesday by Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
